The round stone will be scaled up or down depending on the weight of the pear shape. For each carat weight, the approximate weight for each stone is as follows -

.25 ct round and .75 ct pear shape for 1ctw (carat total weight) 

.3 ct round and 1.2 ct pear for 1.5ctw

.33 ct round and 1.67 ct pear for 2ctw

.4ct round and 2.1 ct pear for the 2.5ctw

.5 ct round and 2.5 ct pear for 3ctw

1 ct round and 3 ct pear for 4ctw

1.5 round and 3.5 ct pear for 5ctw
